Privacy Policy
AECOM, Jacobs, Sandwell MBC and Centro are committed to maintaining customer privacy and to responsible data management
under the principles of data protection legislation in the United Kingdom.
Visitors to this site will not be asked to enter any indentifiable personal information except where an web contact request is
sent from the site.
Request for Email News Updates
Where a request is made to subscribe to an email news list (to receive news updates about the A457 and Route 87 scheme) users
will be asked to enter a user name and email address on the site. This information will be stored on the site in an industry
standard secure database. All details will be processed automatically, including the sending out of emails to news subscribers
and only administrators of the site (at AECOM) and of the website hosting company (Titan Hosting - www.titanhosting.co.uk)
will be able to access the data. Neither AECOM nor Titan Hosting will access the data for reasons other than the
administration of the site required in order to provide the news subscription service.
For the benefit of users, the details entered on this site may be used to set up a subscription to any number of email lists
offered on sites administered by AECOM. This benefit will be offered automatically, and no details will be passed to,
or made accessible to, any other organisations other than as detailed above.
Users will be able to unsubscribe from email lists at any time by visiting the account editing page and unsubscribing from the
email list. After unsubscribing from an email list users will no longer receive emails from that list, although their email
address will be retained within the system until the end of the project, when all data will be destroyed.
Request for Query to be answered On-line
Where on-line contact is requested, the request will be passed directly to AECOM, Jacobs or Sandwell MBC employees who
will respond to the query. Contact details will be stored within the system, but will not be made accessible to employees
responding to the queries. Correspondence will be stored for the purposes of recording and responding to queries within password
protected areas of the website, accessible only to employees of the respective organisations.
Consultation Questionnaire
Visitors to this site will be invited to enter non-identifiable information as part of the consultation questionnaire. This
information will be stored and will be used for monitoring of the questionnaire respondants. Only aggregate data will be used in
analysis.
Web-site Traffic Monitoring
Each web page access is recorded in a log file. The contents of the log file may be analysed to determine how many visitors
we serve, what pages they look at most, what browsers they are using and from where they connect.
No information is shared with anyone outside the supporting organisations (AECOM, Jacobs, Sandwell MBC, Centro and
National Express West Midlands). No information will be used for any purposes except in connection with the A457 / Route 87 Route
Improvements Consultation.
