1 - Sedgley Road West between Oxford Road Way and Silvertrees Road
Summary of the proposed route improvements for this section:
Red Route Restrictions
• Red Route restrictions along A457 Sedgley Road West and Park Lane West, which includes ‘No Stopping at Anytime’ together with formalised areas of on-street parking.
Parking outside SR Autos
• 2 parking bays will be provided for customers of SR Autos.
Hurst Lane junction
• The kerbline will be changed so that traffic crossing the junction along the A457 will be able to continue in a straight line without hitting a kerb.
Bus Stops
• Bus Stop facilities to be upgraded with higher level kerbs to allow easier access.
Parking Outside the Spice Barrel
• A restricted parking bay is to be provided for vehicles between 7pm and 7am or for 20minutes during the day for loading.
Pedestrian crossing outside Neptune Health Park
• Upgrade of pedestrian crossing to aPuffin crossing to be investigated.
• Location of footpath through the verge on North side to be altered to allow better access to the crossing.
