Proposals

• Signalise junction.


• Remove the existing pedestrian crossing point across Dudley Road East and incorporate a new facility into the new junction signals.


• Introduce cycle reservoirs to make the junction safer and more suitable for cyclists using cycle routes along the canals.


• Use a Vehicle Activated Sign to warn vehicles of queues for the junction and to help reduce accidents.
