Contact the Project Team

The project team are keen to hear from anyone with a view on the proposals for the A457 and Route 87. There are several ways in which you can get in touch:

On-line

For the quickest response, contact us on-line through the Contact Webform.

Through this form you can request consultation materials or get further information, ask specific questions about the scheme or make observations on the proposals. All messages sent through this form will be reviewed by the project team and a response will be issued as appropriate.

You can also make comments on specific sections of the scheme as you browse the proposals. These comments will be reviewed and recorded by the project team and will be used to assist in taking the proposals forward.

By phone

If you do not have access to the internet you can call our telephone messaging service on

0845 602 8744.

When you call, you can leave a specific enquiry which will be passed on to the appropriate member of the project team. That member of the project team will then call you back as soon as possible. You can also use this phone number to request additional information on the consultation.

In writing

If you would like to make a written contribution to the consultation, you may write to:

Route Improvement Team
Sandwell MBC
Highways and Environment
Lombard Street
West Bromwich
B70 8RU

Whilst written contributions are very welcome, the response time for postal enquiries will be considerably longer than for on-line or phone enquiries, so this method is not appropriate for urgent enquiries.

Please also note that we are unable to accept enquiries in person at the above address.

In person

If you would like to meet the project team in person, a series of exhibitions have been arranged at locations along the route between the 15th and 23rd October, 2008. The exhibitions will take place on the Network West Midlands consultation bus in High Street locations at Cape Hill, Smethwick and Oldbury and also at the Coneygre Arts Centre in Tipton. Some exhibitions will continue until 8pm and one exhibition, in Oldbury, will take place on a Saturday to enable as many people as possible to attend.

Full details of the exhibitions can be found on the Exhibition Dates page.
